Peter J. Majar, Jr.
Managing Director
Peter Majar joined Freeman & Co. as one of the firms founding employees in 1991, rising to become a Managing Director before his departure in late 1997. Mr. Majar rejoined the firm in early 2004 as a Managing Director focused on building and expanding relationships with some of the firm’s largest clients.
Mr. Majar is currently responsible for leading the firm’s investment banking Securities Industry coverage which includes the sub-sectors of: Broker-Dealers; Exchanges and Displayed Liquidity; Alternative Trading Systems and Dark Pools; and Capital Markets Trading Technologies including DMA, EMS, OMS, Risk Management and Pre and Post-Trade analytics companies.
For the six year period from 1997 to 2003, Mr. Majar was an Officer at Credit Suisse First Boston in the Technology Group of the Investment Banking Department. He was also Founding Principal, Chairman and President of two companies, MK Partners, Inc. and Majar Capital, Inc.
Mr. Majar received his B.A. from the University of Washington and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
