James G. Hatchley, ACA
Managing Director & COO of Europe
James Hatchley joined Freeman & Co. in 2006 and is the Chief Operating Officer of Freeman & Co.’s European operations.
Prior to joining Freeman & Co., Mr. Hatchley spearheaded the coverage of the European Financial Services sector for Greenhill & Co. in London and prior to that he was a founding member of the Schroders’ Pan-European Financial Services Group. Mr. Hatchley has worked on a broad spectrum of financial services transactions across the banking, insurance and asset management industries and on many cross-border assignments into and out of Europe, the US and South Africa.
Mr. Hatchley qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 with Arthur Andersen & Co. and was awarded a first class joint Honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Surrey in 1989.
